The Patient Access Lookup (PAL) Website offers Providers and Payers a centralized space providing coverage, prior authorization, and reimbursement information for specific tests, devices, or drugs, by Payer and/or State. It allows you to direct patients, providers, and other stakeholders to crucial coverage information, and our experienced developers work with you to create a custom webpage to match any branding or regulatory requirements. PAL was designed with the user in mind, offering your providers and/or patients access to relevant, up-to-date policy information.
Ensure Providers Know Criteria
Policy Reporter has received a lot of feedback from our clients on how difficult it is to capture whether a specific test, device, or drug is covered. Policies can change anytime throughout the year, and provider billing departments often do not have the time to read through a 20-page policy before submitting a claim.
Patients are also often not aware how to check their coverage, and how a medical or pharmacy policy might apply to them. Well no more, the Patient Access Lookup Website is here to help!
Filter reimbursement information for your product by State or Payer
Coverage criteria and prior authorization requirements are extracted directly from the coverage policy
Customize your website with a State-by-State Map View or State Drop Down Menu for Providers and/or Patients to select their region(s) of interest
Include a direct link to the payer website
Include prior authorization requirements, along with the plan phone number and fax number
Update reimbursement information within the website quarterly, monthly, or weekly.
Have the website conform to your branding
Make the site accessible to the public, or secure it behind a provider portal login, using National Provider Identifiers (NPI) [NPIs are unique, 10-digit codes given to providers by CMS]
Attach as an added section to your current website or as a stand-alone site.
The Policy Reporter customer service and development team will provide you and your team with ongoing support services throughout the year. Whether a definition needs updating, or your IT department has any questions for the development department, Policy Reporter will be available.
The API will provide a channel of communication from your website to the Policy Reporter system. Any time the web page is viewed or the data request is changed (for example selecting a new state), a request will be sent to the Policy Reporter system and a response with the data will be given and then loaded to the page. Maintenance of this will include ongoing performance and uptime monitoring, regular testing, and code and infrastructure upgrades, including ongoing implementation of security best practices.
